Jaiden Dalbello is a 23 year-old filmmaker and writer from Toronto, Ontario. Ever since Jaiden was a child, storytelling served as the ultimate translator from her brain circuits to the rest of the world. Her keen eye was cemented at an early age through her love for filmmakers such as Tim Burton, Harmony Korine, and Guillermo Del Toro.

Jaiden recycles raw, real-life experiences into dark, surreal worlds loaded with clever social commentary. She delicately weaves together cathartic feelings and memories, in order to describe the indescribable. Her internal processing differs from the norm and defies gender binaries. Unique perspectives are vital to making the world a better place and Jaiden’s work is no exception.

Throughout her high school years at Etobicoke School of The Arts, Jaiden was recognized with many awards. The most rewarding was being selected the 2016 emerging filmmaker at the Toronto Urban Film Festival and grabbing an honorable mention at the Spotlight Film Festival. She also was selected as a jury member for the international Take 21 film festival and has won numerous Scholastic awards for her photography. She attended the School of Visual Art in New York City on scholarship for film production.

Her most recent short film, Ghost City, played at many film festivals and won Best Student Short at the Hollywood International Golden Age Film Festival. Jaiden is currently working toward developing a 12 episode TV Show titled “God Bless America”.
